Megan Gunnell
Megan Gunnell, LMSW, is the Founder and Director of the Thriving Well Institute, admin of the Thriving Therapists Facebook Community, coach, international retreat leader, speaker and #1 bestselling author of "Thriving as a Therapist: The Ultimate Guide to Building and Scaling Your Business for Freedom, Joy and Financial Abundance."
Megan has created a movement helping therapists learn to thrive. Her work is a blend of innovative entrepreneurial leadership, business development and protection and care of the soul.
She is helping therapists learn how to leverage their education and expertise to build additional streams of income. Megan was 1 of 33 Facebook admins to receive the Meta Community Accelerator Award for having one of the highest engaging, most impactful facebook communities in all of North America.
Megan has a passion for increasing access to outpatient mental health care one thriving therapist at a time. She is recklessly brave and committed to teaching therapists how to build a life they love.
Gabrielle Juliano-Villani
Gabrielle Juliano-Villani is a licensed clinical social worker, consultant, coach, entrepreneur and educator based in Sarasota, Fl.
She has been in the mental health field for over a decade specializing in stress, chronic health conditions, and trauma. After realizing her own burnout in 2021, she sold her thriving group practice and made it her mission to educate others on the impact stress has on our everyday lives.
Gabrielle pulls from her experience as an EMDR and Polyvagal Informed therapist to utilize mind/body approaches to help others implement everyday strategies to manage stress and live their best lives.
She is an international speaker, retreat leader, and has been featured in Authority Magazine, The Daily Om, Bustle, and the Everyday Woman TV Network.
When she's not working, Gabrielle is teaching Zumba, surfing, or reading a psychological thriller at the beach.
Alex Castro Croy
Alex Castro Croy is a bilingual, bicultural, Trauma and Addiction Counselor, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and owner/Lead Clinician of Life Recovery Centers and Transcending Consulting Group in Denver and Northglenn Colorado.
First generation immigrant from Mexico who accomplished his dream in higher education receiving an AA in Pastoral Ministry (Dallas, Texas), Bachelor of Science in Human Services (MSU in Denver, Colorado) and MA in Community Counseling from Regis University (Denver, Co). He is continuing to pursue his MA/Ph.D. from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Jungian and Archetypal Studies.
Alex’s passion includes training, teaching, counseling, and consulting. He has been an Adjunct Professor for the Human Services Department at MSU-Denver for 10 years. He has served as an Interventionist for the Latino GLBTQ community, Drug Court Probation Officer at Denver Juvenile Court Probation (8 years), Bilingual Diversion Officer for Denver DA office (5 years), and currently owner and director of Life Recovery Centers (7 years). He has worked with a variety of clients from all walks of life and his eclectic therapeutic interventions have proven to be effective in treating trauma and addiction.
As a clinician, he’s constantly reminded to engage in the art of self-care within the 5 domains of self. He has learned in his experience as a human in the clinical role, that the human comes first, then the professional side. Therefore, he has learned to honor and respect the human part of ourselves first in order to be effective in the profession role. His Depth/Jungian perspective always defaults back to soul work and soul tending (therapy).
Heidi Schindlebeck
Heidi plays many roles with the Thrive Team! As our business manager, she keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She also teaches yoga and has extensive experience in personal training, wellness and fitness. Yoga sessions with Heidi are supportive, connected and intuitive. She will help you stretch and grow into your highest potential both on and off the mat.
At the Thrive Retreat, Oregon, Heidi will offer daily yoga sessions for restoration and recharging. No experience is necessary. Heidi helps everyone in the room feel comfortable whether you're brand new to yoga or a seasoned yogi!
